Jennifer and Dominique started making Paletas in Jennifer's kitchen in the summer of 2013. They wanted to
offer their children an all-natural and refreshing snack alternative that would be enticing and tasty.
Inspired by Jennifer's extensive travels in Mexico and the Latin culture and flavors that are such an integral part of life in Los Angeles, the friends set about whipping up tasty combinations of fresh fruits, herbs and nuts. Not only did their own families love their concoctions on a stick, but  Jennifer and Dominique soon found themselves fielding requests for paletas from other parents and friends.
Encouraged by this amazing response, and well-acquainted with Los Angelenos’ penchant for unique culinary experiences, the girls figured the next step to conquering the world, or at least their side of town, was to sling Paletas from a Push Cart. While you won't hear the familiar tune of the ice cream truck, you will enjoy tasting both classic and new (but always interesting and refreshing) flavor combos in these frozen treats known as Paletas.
